Video Art Gallery

The video art gallery can be found in the first-floor lobby of a dramatic, ten-story glass atrium of a recently renovated historic building in Washington DC. The building’s unique construction connects the interior spaces of two existing structures and features floor-to-ceiling windows that provide unparalleled views of downtown and the nearby U.S. Capitol. The video art gallery showcases curated works of video artists from all over the world.

Planar’s TVF Series Direct View LED technology was the video wall system of choice for the video art gallery. The system, which is rated for 24×7 use, features an impressive 137” diagonal and front-side installation and serviceability for easier access and maintenance.

Our team worked closely with our partners at Planar to overcome challenges related to site conditions, specifically the spatial limitations and aesthetics of the lobby. We developed a custom mounting solution that allowed for a flush installation, ease of serviceability, and sufficient ventilation to ensure the video wall remains fully functional over the long-term.
